00:18Hello everybody.
00:19Hello sir.
00:20How are you? Nice to see you.
00:21Good to see you.
00:23You good?
00:24You all set?
00:25Yeah.
00:26We're flying over right now.
00:28We're flying over a thing called the Gulf of America.
00:31And I'm signing a proclamation and perhaps you could define that.
00:36This is a proclamation declaring today, February 9th, 2025,
00:41as the first ever Gulf of America day.
00:44This follows the President's Executive Order
00:46issuing a name change from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.
00:52And we're flying right over it right now.
00:54So we thought this would be appropriate.
00:58Even bigger than the Super Bowl.
00:59This is a big thing.
01:01And almost everybody now has assented to that.
01:06Attention on board.
01:07Ladies and gentlemen, if you could please direct your attention
01:09out the right side of the aircraft.
01:11Air Force One is currently in international waters.
01:14The first time in history flying over the recently renamed Gulf of America.
01:19Please enjoy the flight.
01:20And we are now about to head westbound to Super Bowl 59.
01:24Wow.
01:25He did that well.
01:27That's a good job.
01:29Isn't that nice?
01:33Make America great again, right?
01:34That's what we care about.
01:36Okay.
01:37Here we go.
01:38So this is a famous pen now.
01:51And we'll put it with something.
01:54I'll ask you to do whatever you think we should do with it, Mr. Secretary.
01:59Do you want to talk about, you know, Doug, Secretary of the Interior,
02:02and also working with Chris Wright on extracting vast amounts of oil and gas
02:09and making our country rich?
02:11Would you like to say something, Doug?
02:13Well, with the Gulf of America, this is a historic day.
02:16We want to thank President Trump.
02:18His executive order is what set this in motion.
02:21We signed a secretarial order as Secretary of Interior directing the U.S.
02:27Geologic Survey, who is responsible for the database,
02:30which is the geographic names informational system.
02:34And so just prior to this signing, if you will, the button was pushed.
02:39It became official with this proclamation to call today Gulf of America Day.
02:44But now it's going out.
02:46As we're sitting here right now, our team is calling all the map providers,
02:50so Google Maps, Apple Maps, all the map people.
02:53That change will take effect this afternoon to Gulf of America.
02:58So, again, fantastic.
03:00Thank you, President Trump, for setting this all in motion with your executive order.
03:04It's an exciting, fun day.
03:06And great to do this as we're flying over the Gulf of America.
03:11We thought it would be very appropriate.
03:13We thought it would be appropriate.
03:14Catherine, thank you very much for being here.
03:17So happy to be here.
03:18A very important part of his life.
03:21Who knows what would have happened to him without you.
03:23It might not have been good.
03:25Here you go.
03:31Have you talked to Mexico about this today?
03:33Actually, interestingly, I've never spoken to them about it.
03:36It was our call, and I have not spoken to them about it.
03:40I've spoken to them about many other things, but I haven't really talked to them about this.
03:43They have never brought it up.
03:44I'm a little surprised at that, but they've never brought it up.
03:47Don't miss out.
