00:00I don't want anything to go down, but sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something.
00:05I spoke to a lot of leaders, European, Asian, from all over the world.
00:10They're dying to make a deal, but I said, we're not going to have deficits with your country.
00:16We're not going to do that, because to me a deficit is a loss.
00:20We're going to have surpluses, or at worst, going to be breaking even.
00:25We will be taking in over a trillion dollars over the next short period of time
00:30with the tariffs that I've already instituted.
00:33They're already in place.
00:35Now what's going to happen with the market, I can't tell you,
00:37but I can tell you our country has gotten a lot stronger.
00:41But I do want to solve the deficit problem that we have with China,
00:45with the European Union and other nations.
00:48And they're going to have to do that.
00:50And if they want to talk about that, I'm open to talking.
00:53Otherwise, why would I want to talk?
00:55They want to talk, but there's no talk unless they pay us a lot of money on a yearly basis.
01:01The report is that we had a deal pretty much with Tic Tac.
01:04Not a deal, but pretty close.
01:06And then China changed the deal because of tariffs.
01:09If I gave a little cut in tariffs, they'd approve that deal in 15 minutes.
01:13Which shows you the power of tariffs, right?
01:16I don't want anything to go down.
01:18But sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something.
01:21I spoke to a lot of leaders, European, Asian, from all over the world.
01:26They're dying to make a deal.
01:28But I said, we're not going to have deficits with your country.
01:32We're not going to do that.
01:34Because to me, a deficit is a loss.
01:36We're going to have surpluses or, at worst, going to be breaking even.
01:40We will be taking in over a trillion dollars over the next short period of time
01:47with the tariffs that I've already instituted.
01:50They're already in place.
01:52Now, what's going to happen with the market, I can't tell you.
01:54But I can tell you, our country has gotten a lot stronger.
01:57But I do want to solve the deficit problem that we have with China, with the European Union and other nations.
02:04And they're going to have to do that.
02:06And if they want to talk about that, I'm open to talking.
02:09But otherwise, why would I want to talk?
02:11They want to talk.
02:12But there's no talk unless they pay us a lot of money on a yearly basis.
02:16The report is that we had a deal pretty much with Tic Tac.
02:19Not a deal, but pretty close.
02:21And then China changed the deal because of tariffs.
02:24If I gave a little cut in tariffs, they'd approve that deal in 15 minutes.
02:29Which shows you the power of tariffs.
02:31I'm concerned, are you, about the measles outbreak?
02:33There was another fatality today.
02:35And what else would you like to see in terms of the response?
02:37Well, I think they're doing reports on it.
02:41It's so far a fairly small number of people relative to what we're talking about.
02:46Something that people have known about for many, many years.
02:50I mean, measles has been, you know, this is not something new.
02:53And we'll see what happens.
02:55But certainly, if something, if it progresses, we'll have to take action.
03:01Sir, when are the next set of talks with Russia?
03:04And who will participate?
03:05And where are we in terms of making progress, in terms of peace?
03:08We're talking to Russia.
03:09We'd like them to stop.
03:10I don't like the bombing.
03:12The bombing goes on and on.
03:14And every week, people, thousands of young people are being killed.
03:18And it's a horrible thing that should have never started.
03:21Would have never started if I were president.
03:24100%.
03:25What are you and Prime Minister Netanyahu going to speak about tomorrow?
03:28We're going to talk about trade.
03:32Yeah, we're going to talk about the obvious subject.
03:34You know what the obvious subject is.
03:36Do you have any news for us on the obvious subject?
03:38I'm trying to do trade just to keep it down.
03:40There's a lot of things going on with the Middle East right now that have to be silenced.
03:46You know, we had no problem with the Middle East.
03:49Everything was done.
03:51We had no problem with Iran.
03:53We had no problem with anybody.
03:55And then you had October 7th.
03:57And that was all because Iran, as you know, was not giving money to anybody
04:01because they had no money.
04:03Now they have a lot of money.
04:05So we'll see what happens.
04:07When are the next set of talks with Russia?
04:09And who will participate?
04:11And where are we in terms of making progress, in terms of peace?
04:13We're talking to Russia.
04:15We'd like them to stop.
04:17I don't like the bombing.
04:19The bombing goes on and on.
04:21And every week, people, thousands of young people are being killed.
04:23And it's a horrible thing that should have never started.
04:25Would have never started if I were president.
04:27100%.
04:29What are you and Prime Minister Netanyahu going to speak about tomorrow?
04:33We're going to talk about trade.
04:35And we're going to talk about the obvious subject.
04:37You know what the obvious subject is, right?
04:39Do you have any news for us on the obvious subject?
04:41I'm trying to do trade, just to keep it down.
04:43There's a lot of things going on with the Middle East right now that have to be silenced.
04:49You know, we had no problem with the Middle East.
04:53Everything was done.
04:55We had no problem with Iran.
04:57We had no problem with anybody.
04:59And then you had October 7th.
05:01And that was all because Iran, as you know, was not giving money to anybody because they had no money.
05:07Now they have a lot of money.
05:09So we'll see what happens.
05:11Speaking of the border, have you talked to Attorney General Pam Bondi recently about the cases going on with the deportations?
05:15Yeah, sure.
05:17It's really sad when you think that Biden allowed millions of people to come in.
05:19And if they find one.
05:21Now, I will tell you.
05:23Somebody said he's a member of MS-13, not Tren de Aragua.
05:28He's a member of MS-13, and therefore he should immediately be brought back.
05:33Well, MS-13 is just as bad as Tren de Aragua.
05:37El Salvador's president said on exit he'd been invited to the White House on April 14th for a working visit.
05:42In their system, their prison system, they spend a tiny fraction of the money that this country spends.
05:49But he is coming in.
05:51I don't know when, but he is coming in sometime over the next couple of weeks.
05:55The president there said he would be willing to take American citizens and the federal prison population.
05:59Is that one of the ideas you're going to be discussing?
06:01Well, I love that.
06:03If we could take some of our 20-time wise guys that push people into subways and that hit people over the back of the head
06:09and that purposely run people over in cars, if he would take them, I'd be honored to give them.
06:14I don't know what the law says on that, but I can't imagine the law would say anything different.
06:19If they can house these horrible criminals for a lot less money than it costs us, I'm all for it.
06:26But I'd only do according to the law.
06:29How concerned are you about the measles outbreak?
06:31There was another fatality today.
06:33What else would you like to see in terms of the response?
06:35Well, I think they're doing reports on it.

06:44It's something that people have known about for many, many years.
06:48Measles has been, you know, this is not something new.
06:51And we'll see what happens.
06:53But certainly, if something, if it progresses, we'll have to take action.
06:59Former New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu is saying that he'll win the Open Senate seat in New Hampshire
07:04and that he has no doubt you'll support him if he runs.
07:07Is that true?
07:08True.
07:09I told him.
07:10He came to my office, came to the Oval Office and met with Chris Sununu.
07:14And I support him fully.
07:16I hope he runs.
07:17He's been very nice to me over the last year or so.
07:21But, no, I hope he runs.
07:23I think he'll win that seat.
