00:30The bilateral meetings held at the Global Labor Market Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

00:37where the Philippines is one of the winners.

00:40The Department of Migrant Workers, which consists of 10 countries,

00:44expressed their interest in Filipino skilled workers.

00:50The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of these countries.

00:54And the Bahamas, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Libya.

01:01At the forefront, we will talk about their interest and demand for Filipino skilled workers.

01:09But we also talked about the efforts on upskilling of our Filipino workers.

01:16We also talked about the need for caregivers aligned with the efforts of the Department on upskilling.

01:26According to the DMW, the countries mentioned in the directive

01:31want to further strengthen the relationship between the sustainable workforce and care for the underprivileged.

01:38It is expected that they will also visit the country

01:41to study the Overseas Employment Program of the Philippines

01:45and its programs to fight illegal recruitment.

01:49It was also mentioned that there are other countries

01:53that want to have their own Department of Migrant Workers

01:58or have their own Overseas Employment Program.

02:01If you notice, the combination of countries is a combination of high-volume OFWs

02:08and not just high-volume, but they also value the protection of our OFWs.

02:16The DMW's target is to open more embassies in the Philippines in different parts of the world this year.

02:24Meanwhile, the DMW prioritized the inauguration of Bahay Kalinga-Dicker

02:29that will take care of the children of OFWs who live in the house of the Sarayada Agency.

02:35The Dicker Center will provide basic learning experience and socialization skills to the children

02:41as a preparation before they return to the Philippines.
