00:00This Super Bowl commercial had me literally rolling on the floor.

00:03It is so fantastic and smart.

00:06Was this an instant yes when they approached you with the creative for this?

00:10Yes, especially with Tyka's name involved.

00:13Yeah, definitely. What was it like turning into a real seal?

00:18Well, it was, you know, it wasn't a difficult transition.

00:23You know, it's not the first time I've heard that joke, but it was fun.

00:27As long as it makes people laugh and makes me laugh.

00:31What was it like doing a parody on, obviously, such a huge song, Kiss from a Rose?

00:38What was it like turning this into Kiss from a Lime?

00:41It was interesting.

00:43You know, my brother from another mother, Patrick, he reveled at the idea of changing the lyrics

00:52because, you know, that's what he likes to do. He likes to humiliate me.

00:56And so that was fun.

00:58But look, you know, I'm in the fortunate position of having a song that most people, you know, know in some capacity or other.

01:10And so, yeah, it was fun, you know, and I like a drink, Mountain Dew, Baja Blast.

01:16And therefore it seemed like a no brainer.

01:20Again, it's all done with a kind of with a touch of humor.

01:25It's meant to be entertainment.

01:27It's meant to be funny.

01:29It gives me a chance to poke fun at myself.

01:32And, you know, that's laughter is a valuable commodity these days.

01:37It really is. You know, Kiss from a Rose is over 30 years old now.

01:42And I still remember when it first came out.

01:44It's such an iconic song.

01:46Longer than that.

01:47Well, I think you wrote it in like 1987.

01:51Well, it's actually closer to 40 years old because it was written about five years before it was released.

01:57Wow. That's incredible.

01:59I just wouldn't play it to anyone.

02:01But yes, for the purposes of this conversation over 30 years old.

02:05Why wouldn't you play it for anybody?

02:08Because I didn't particularly like it.

02:10So interesting. How do you feel about it now?

02:13Oh, I feel really good about it. My bank manager loves it.
