Brianne Howey Says Cast ‘Couldn’t Keep it Together’ in Kinda Pregnant’s Uncontrollable Farting Scene

00:00We didn't, nobody kept it together.

00:03We couldn't, it was impossible.

00:05We finally had to do, I think maybe Ty, the director,

00:08finally just said, okay, one take with no farts

00:11because we couldn't get through it.

00:12So we had to do one take with no sound effects,

00:15no farting in order to get the acting that we needed.

00:19Everything, I don't know how we got this done.

00:24There was the one scene where Will and Amy

00:27are in Meg's kitchen and that's when everyone

00:30puts it together that Will and Meg are brother and sister.

00:35Gosh, sorry, I know I'm using his name.

00:38They had to go back and forth,

00:40coming up with words that have T in it,

00:44like teacher, T, whatever.

00:47They were on fire, literally on fire in the scene

00:52and I had to move my face into the fridge

00:55so I wouldn't ruin the take

00:56because I couldn't stop laughing.

00:59They're so smart and so funny, of course.

01:02And so what's actually kind of fun about that scene,

01:05that wasn't the original scene

01:06and the original scene was beautiful.

01:09Amy called me the night before and goes,

01:11I love this scene, do you think we can make it

01:13even more our own?

01:15And I was like, okay, talk to me, what does that mean?

01:18And Amy basically was like,

01:20what if we told our own birth stories?

01:22We both had children, what if we shared

01:23what that experience was like?

01:25Because it's not something that gets talked about a lot.

01:28And basically when Amy says jump, you say how high.

01:30So we did it and I'm super grateful to her.

01:33I've never gotten to do anything like that

01:37and it felt really special and that is my birth story, yeah.
