The Department of Agriculture is now studying the implementation of the Maximum Suggested Retail Price for the price of pork.

According to Agriculture Assistant Secretary Arnel De Mesa,

it has been announced that the pork will become MSRP after the DA's study is completed.

Meanwhile, eggs are oversupplied in the country, according to Assistant Secretary De Mesa.

One of the reasons is the large number of chickens that were slaughtered.

De Mesa also explained that until March, there is usually an oversupply of eggs,

a reason for the slaughter of chickens to control its population.

Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr. also said that

there is no unnecessary culling to the chickens
