00:00The maritime and aerial assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines are being closely watched by the ships of China

00:07that were seen in our Exclusive Economic Zone.

00:17The maritime and aerial assets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines were spotted

00:22by the three ships of the People's Liberation Army or PLA Navy of China

00:26that were seen inside the archipelagic waters of the Philippines.

00:30Among them are the Renhai-class Cruiser Guided Missile,

00:34Fuji-class Replenishment Oiler,

00:37and Jiangkai-class Frigate.

00:39Since February 1, the warships of China were monitored

00:43that passed through the Kuyo Island in Palawan

00:46towards Basilan Strait.

00:48And one of them came from Bajo de Macinloc.

00:50These ships are now being sent out of the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.

00:55The last 120 nautical miles from Basilan

00:59and possible direction of Indonesia

01:01for an exercise.

01:03Although the passage of different ships in the archipelagic sea lanes was accepted by the AFP,

01:10there was no diplomatic coordination between the ships of China.

01:14These ships also did not run expeditiously

01:18that only released 5 to 6 knots

01:20and there was a so-called invasion.

01:22They could have traveled expeditiously.

01:25They were challenged all the way.

01:28They replied but not in accordance to standard procedures.

01:33Standard procedure is that you would identify yourself,

01:35you would state where you came from, where you're heading to.

01:39The only reply given to Western Military Command was that

01:43they are exercising freedom of navigation and innocent passage.

01:47There is no cause for alarm

01:49as we are prepared to respond effectively

01:51to any developments.

02:22Based on the latest monitoring

02:25with the help of Dark Vessel Detection Data of Canada,

02:28the ships of CCG will return to Guangdong Province in China.

02:32In the middle of the activities of the ships of China,

02:35an expert said that the country should continue to show that we are not afraid.

02:42Even if they are just passing by, we will show that we are still watching

02:46and we are still insisting that if they are passing by,

02:49they should act in accordance with the law.

02:53Our so-called vigilance is continuous.

02:57Because whenever they do something against our law and our security,

03:02we have the right to act to protect our security.

03:07After all, they are the ones in our area.

03:10So we have the right in case something happens.

03:17Meanwhile, the two B-1 Bomber Aircraft of the U.S. Pacific Air Force

03:22flew in the West Philippine Sea.

03:26This is the result of the joint aerial exercise of the Philippines and America

03:32in the West Philippine Sea,

03:34where the vicinity of Bajo de Macinloc is a training area.

03:38The three F-A-50 fighter jets flew for the Philippine Air Force.

03:42As for us, we are doing this training based on international rules-based order

03:48and based on protocol.

03:50So we will just continue on regardless of the action of other foreign actors.

03:58and the aircraft of China was not seen during the exercise.
