The final two chapters of Deuteronomy contain Moses’ last words to Israel before his death. Chapter 33 records his blessings over the twelve tribes, similar to Jacob’s blessings in Genesis 49. Chapter 34 recounts Moses’ death and the transition of leadership to Joshua.
