00:04Its evolution impacts and his latest exchanges with the u.s. Tech mogul Elon Musk

00:09Thank you very much indeed for joining us at Jimmy Wales really great to have you with us from London

00:14Want to start by talking about some headlines that we've been seeing in the last couple of days and weeks

00:19Elon Musk calling wiki a left-wing

00:23Propaganda tool he's even called it

00:26Wokipedia, why is he so angry?

00:30Well, I can't really speak for what goes through Elon's mind

00:35You know his concern is a perceived left-wing bias of Wikipedia

00:41And then we've gone somehow crazy woke, but every time I try to get examples from people who agree with him

00:48They're very very hard-pressed to come up with examples that that actually make any sense obviously Wikipedia isn't perfect

00:53You can find entries that are for a short period of time anyway bias and so forth

00:58But you know within our community we have a really strong commitment to neutrality to objectivity

01:04And what I've been saying to Elon is look if you're not happy about Wikipedia

01:08The thing to do is encourage thoughtful kind people who are conservatives to come and join us come and participate

01:14We're really looking for any examples of bias
