00:02seeing them kind of interact for the first time?

00:29in order for me not to feel awkward,

00:30so I think I was oblivious to it.

00:32I was not.

00:35I was like, yeah, everything's good, we're fine.

00:36When Carl came out to the pool,

00:38he kind of just like, never really announced

00:41that he was there, and I was like,

00:43standing far enough away where I couldn't really see,

00:45and I'm like, I look over and I'm like,

00:47Carl, how long have you been just like, standing there?

00:49And you know, so you can kind of tell

00:50that he was walking on eggshells.

00:52When I went up to him, I could just tell,

00:54like, he was like, it was a ball of like, anxiety.

00:58Coming into the house a day late,

01:01it's always, you know, the buildup of it all is a lot.

01:04So my goal.

01:05Having the sonogram on the mantel.

01:07Right, I don't know if he saw that on the way in, but.

01:09I know, right, I was like, someone take it down.

01:10He, he.

01:11Carl stayed up there all summer.

01:13He did get clued in by some friends outside the house.

01:15Yeah, some stories, some stories on the Instagram post

01:17and everything like that.

01:18Yeah, well he's not, he doesn't follow her,

01:19but other people.

01:20Yeah, he has a group of friends

01:21that I guess send him everything that she does,

01:24so he's always aware, and he's like, please stop.

01:27But ultimately, I was just like,

01:28I forget if I was saying this on camera,

01:31or if I just like, manifested it,

01:32but I was just like, I need to function like,

01:35their initial, like, we need to break the ice.

01:38Like, we can't let this,

01:39because it was, I felt the awkwardness.

01:43So I was just trying to convince him, like,

01:45find a moment in the kitchen,

01:46like, where it's just the two of you.

01:49Wish her congrats, because I know that's how he was feeling,

01:51and that's what he was kind of conveying.

01:53And.

01:54Because even when the rumors were out, you know,

01:56we obviously had conversations with Carl,

01:58and we were traveling with him a lot, too,

02:00and he was like, if this is true,

02:02like, I'm genuinely happy for her.

02:04Like, I'm genuinely.

02:07So, yeah, for him to like, say something to her in person,

02:11it's probably hard, but it's truly how he felt.
