Netanyahu heads to US to discuss 'victory over Hamas' with Trump

The Israeli prime minister will be the first foreign leader to meet President Trump since he returned to office for a second term.

00:07ahead of his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

00:11He said the two will discuss what he called victory over Hamas as well as countering Iran

00:15and expanding diplomatic relations with Arab countries.

00:19The meeting marks Trump's first with a foreign leader since he took office.

00:24I think it's a testimony to the strength of the Israeli-American alliance.

00:33Netanyahu's arrival to the U.S. comes despite facing an arrest warrant issued by the International

00:38Criminal Court in November last year.

00:42The court's member states are required to detain suspects facing a warrant if they set

00:46foot on their soil.

00:47However, the U.S. and Israel are not part of the court.
