00:03in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championships has ended.

00:07The Pinoy team finished in the semifinals against the Tunisian national team 63-68

00:14despite the excellent performances of DeMarcus Cousins

00:18who scored 18 points and 15 rebounds

00:21and Chris Macolo who scored 18 markers and 3 boards.

00:25In the second quarter, Tunisia lost an explosive scoring run

00:30and their advantage was reduced to 16 points.

00:33But the SGA gradually pushed them back

00:36and the score dropped to 3 points in the last seconds of the game.

00:40Renza Bando had a chance to score a goal

00:43but there was no call for his 3-point attempt

00:46even though many people believe that Tunisia has an illegal contact.

00:52Because of this, and because of the many no-calls in the game,

00:59Strong Group did not qualify for the battle for 3rd place as a protest.

01:04In the statement released by the SGA on their official website,

01:07it stated that the officiating was not fair in the game

01:11because the officials' feet were on the Tunisian team.

01:16Because of this, their campaign will end as 4th placers in the prestigious tournament.
