00:00You know, whenever we began our first press conference, I guess two or three days ago,
00:09we gave the condolences to the 67 families of the 67 victims in this accident.
00:16And tonight, we also need to give the condolences to yet another set of individuals due to the
00:22Philadelphia crash.
00:24Our hearts go out to all of them.
00:26Nobody should suffer this much tragedy, no matter what time frame in between it.
00:32But know this, we will find out what happened in both of those accidents.
00:37We will make recommendations.
00:40We will attempt to never have to deal with those type of accidents again.
00:45Now we're going to talk a little bit about altitude.
00:48And I'm going to preface this, and we're going to try to work through your questions.
00:52But I want to be very clear.
00:55Our team has had some internal debate on releasing one part of this.
01:00And whenever I explain it, I hope you will understand why.
01:05When we received the recorders from the CRJ, we were able to define an altitude of where
01:12it was very close to the time of impact.
01:16That is a data point we feel very comfortable with.
01:21We also have an initial set of information in regard to what was being seen on the cab
01:27in the control tower.
01:31We have not finalized that and need to get more granularity to it.
01:35And we currently don't have the readout from the Blackhawk.
01:40As previously stated, we know that the FDR and data provided indicated that the CRJ was
01:48at 325 feet, plus or minus 25 feet.
01:53We also, initial preliminary data right now indicates that on the tower's radar scope
02:05that was available to the controller, initial data indicates that that would, indicates
02:11that he may have seen 200 feet.
02:14That needs to be verified.
02:16Our ATC group is working it.
02:18We will have more data available, but those are the initial indications.
02:23Our team is looking into that, but I think it's important to note that this is a complex
02:31investigation.
02:33There's a lot of pieces here.
02:34Our team is working very hard to gather this data, make sure we, as Member Inman has said,
02:42understand why this happened.
