00:00Do it well, ladies and gentlemen. This is Speed Sports.
00:30They are on the offensive, Kway Alipu, shot blocked, it might just come for N'Zola at
00:40the back post, and it's taken 36 seconds for the opening goal to come here, a seventh of
00:48the season for Mbale N'Zola, and it's Montpellier nil, loss one.
00:57Delight for the travelling supporters at the other end of the stadium, what a start, Matthew
01:01Ryan, the goalkeeper, with the ball out from the back, sent down the line for the run of
01:08Kway Alipu, N'Zola just peeling away towards the back post, completely unmarked, and it
01:14was Adrian Thomasson who played the ball across the face of goal for N'Zola.
01:23A dream start for Lens, a nightmare beginning to this game for Montpellier.
01:32Andy Duff, a little bit of space for him to turn and head towards goal, Duff with the
01:37attempt, drags it wide, but he has got that ability, and it's a wicked delivery from
01:45Savanier from the right, and Andy Delore with his first chance.
01:49Frankowski, and there's a Montpellier player down, and this will carry on, the referee
01:54can see the Montpellier player on the floor, but he allows the play to continue, and Godwin
02:01Kway Alipu turns it into the net to make it 2-0.
02:09Montpellier unhappy because Kiki Kouyate, their defender, was out of the game, on the
02:18ground holding his head, the referee saw no reason to stop the game.
02:30Just an accidental contact from Kway Alipu at the beginning of the move,
02:36and the Central African Republic international striker certainly making his presence felt.
02:41The January signing by Lens gets his second goal for his new club, just drifting in between
02:51the defenders there, into a little bit of space, Modibo Sagnon didn't close him down.
02:59Kway Alipu with the goal to make it 2-0 for Lens.
03:04Chippy the referee, when he sees that, chooses to disallow the goal, it's a red card for Jean-Louis
03:11Gasset and for Will Still, tensions spilling over here, Jean-Louis Gasset and Will Still,
03:18clearly no issue between the two of them,
03:24and the two managers
03:27cannot believe that they have been sent off for that, Will Still asking the question
03:32seriously, what are you doing?
03:45The referee is suggesting that the two managers were preventing him from being able
03:50to get to the bar monitor to review the images, now when this is slowed down it's going to look
03:55a lot worse than maybe it was in reality, Kway Alipu using his body justifiably to
04:02hold off the defender as he tried to protect the ball, I don't think he knew for sure
04:09that the face of Kiki Kouyate was exactly where it was, Kouyate obviously felt the impact of that,
04:16he went down and clearly blood has been drawn and the referee has seen enough and he's going
04:22to disallow the goal and give a free kick to Montpellier and Will Still can't believe it,
04:29it's cost him a red card as well as Jean-Louis Gasset, the Montpellier coach, but the whole
04:34team have been let off the hook here because good wittingly there is the halftime whistle
04:43and the first half is over, believe it or not there's only one goal in the scoreboard
04:49but we've seen four, it's crazy, totally crazy, so don't go anywhere, we're coming back
04:56take a look at the highlights after a break
05:02it was Lens who get us underway, let's see if they can strike as quickly in the second
05:08half as they did in the first and Balenzola's goal 33 seconds into the game
05:13and it's what separates the teams here and Pelleiro looking to start strongly
05:19after the restart, Moussa Outamari with the attempt, relatively central
05:27here's Enzola the goal scorer, Frankowski wanted to be on his right foot, Thomasson
05:33and Bonifo, what about that for an introduction to French football, Jeremy and Bonifo
05:42the 19 year old, barely a minute after coming on for his debut, gets the goal and makes it 2-0 for
05:51Lens, absolutely incredible
06:07is that the goal that definitively sinks Montpellier here
06:12what about that for the substitution though in Balenzola
06:16involved initially, it was Andriane Thomasson really with a speculative
06:20ball across the penalty box and Agbonifo just with a little bit of space
06:28able to pick his spot with the first time shot
06:33just on the debut, once a second straight clean sheet
06:45Bonifo the scorer of the second goal playing the role of the draft excluder
06:59Savanier or Koulibaly to take the free kick here, surely it'll be Teji Savanier to try his luck
07:07and here's Savanier, he's off target and the referee has a look at his watch, he might allow
07:11the action to continue for a few more seconds, now this game slipped away from Montpellier some time ago
07:22and the match is over, Lens have just won 2-0 against Montpellier, Ansola and Agbonifo
07:29the two scorers for today's match and it's kind of curious because it's a two goal match
07:36when we saw five in this encounter, three points for Lens and Montpellier is in the last part
07:44of the table, thank you for joining us on Bean Sports and see you the next time with so much more, thank you
