00:00A lot of local and national government officials

00:03came to the Leaders Convergence Summit of the Partido Veteran of the Philippines

00:07where it was led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:13The adhika'i of the party was explained here

00:16that not to be the greatest and the strongest

00:19but to be united and to help the country.

00:23The party will hold a convention in different parts of the country

00:26to address the needs of each member of the PFP.

00:31This is what Christian Bascones reported.

00:35President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the Leaders Convergence Summit

00:40of the Partido Veteran of the Philippines.

00:43He is here with three of the leaders in the senatorial race

00:47and a member of the PFP who are called the top three.

00:51Senator Francis Tolentino, Senate candidate and former secretary of DILG Benjuer Avalos

00:56and former senator Manny Pacquiao.

00:59Hundreds of members, local and national government officials gathered.

01:05President R. Marcos, Jr. explained to the whole party

01:07that the adhika'i of the party was explained here

01:10that not to be the greatest and the strongest

01:15but to be united and to help the country.

01:20The members of the party helped the country.

01:24When the campaign period comes, we are too busy,

01:29we think a lot, we go to a lot of places.

01:33But before we start, let's not forget

01:37why we are united under the flag of the PFP.

01:46Our party must be strong

01:49but the real reason why we are united

01:56is so that all who can understand our desire for unity

02:04so that all who can help us in the improvement of the Philippines

02:11are with us and we have our own plan,

02:14we have a goal for our country.

02:22The President also reminded the members of the party

02:24of what kind of duty each member has

02:27that even if they receive some sarigmatikos,

02:30spicy and painful words, they must endure.

02:35We are patient, we make sacrifices

02:38and sometimes we endure the painful words

02:44and the spicy words of our opponents

02:48because we believe in what we are doing.

02:52The President also added that these principles will only be fulfilled

02:56through elections.

02:58If so, the party will hold a convention in different parts of the country

03:03to know the needs of the citizens of each member of the PFP.

03:09How do we make those principles into reality?

03:14And that's what these elections are all about.

03:17We will hold other kinds of conventions in different places

03:23so that our leaders can hear the needs of our candidates

03:30while it's still early, while we still have a chance to gather everyone.

03:36The leader of the PFP needs to know what else we can help

03:43because the party is there to help all the members.

03:49The President also made the PFP the strongest party in the country.

03:56And trust me, the PFP is the strongest party in the country today

04:08and the PFP, that strong party, is behind you all the way.
