00:00We are hearing the attack has impacted power and heating in the central town of Uman.

00:06Tell us how attacks on energy supplies are impacting the Ukrainian people.

00:11We know Russia has been using this tactic.

00:14Yes, this tactic is called weaponizing winter, weaponizing darkness,

00:19and Russia were trying to apply that.

00:21So the majority of energy infrastructure in Ukraine has been destroyed,

00:27though it was a part of the civil infrastructure

00:29and was not supposed to be targets at the war.

00:32So the results of that on everyday life are the energy outages.

00:38There were a couple of months ago when I in Kiev only had electricity for four hours a day.

00:45Right now it is a little bit better, but it is different from region to region.

00:50So the closer you are to the border, the worse it is.
