New Media Granted Access to White House Briefing for the First Time

00:00The Trump administration has allowed new media to participate in the White House briefing.

00:05Content creators, podcasters, social media will be able to participate in the White House briefing.

00:10The White House press secretary, Caroline, announced the first step in the briefing.

00:14New media people will also be able to participate in the briefing.

00:17This is what the press secretary said.

00:18Free journalists, podcasters, social media will be able to participate in the briefing.

00:22According to the new media, Trump wants a new order in his administration.

00:53In doing so, number one, we will ensure that outlets like yours, Axios and Breitbart,

00:57which are widely respected and viewed outlets, have an actual seat in this room every day.

01:03We also, again, encourage anybody in this country, whether you are a TikTok content creator,

01:09a blogger, a podcaster, if you are producing legitimate news content,

01:14no matter the medium, you will be allowed to apply for press credentials to this White House.

01:27And so we encourage people to apply.
