00:00The launch of the AgriSenso Plus Lending Program of the Land Bank in Lalo, Cagayan was a success.

00:07It can help farmers and fishermen in a lower and easier way to lend.

00:33Father Celestino has nothing to thank for the programs that will improve their livelihoods.

00:40Just like other farmers, fishermen, agrarian reform beneficiaries and small businessmen,

00:46they are confident that their agribusiness will flourish.

00:50This was achieved by the Agriculture Growth and Resource Integration

00:55through Strategic and Enhanced Delivery of Support and Opportunities

00:59or AgriSenso Plus Lending Program of the Land Bank in Lalo, Cagayan.

01:04We've launched this alongside with the ASCEND Program.

01:07And that's really all about capacity building, it's about education,

01:12it's about also helping them really understand that, you know, there are obligations,

01:17there are responsibilities when you have loans.

01:20And because the ASCEND Program is a capacity building component of the AgriSenso Plus Lending Program,

01:26its interest is only 4% per year, which is lower than the private lender.

01:32Aside from this, the requirements were also simplified by the Land Bank.

01:36In fact, more than 1,000 people applied to AgriSenso Plus here in Lalo, Cagayan,

01:42where 400 loan applications were approved.

01:46These programs are just one of the initiatives of the Administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

01:52to strengthen agribusiness in the country.
