00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Migrant Workers

00:04to provide livelihood and employment support to the 17 seafarers of the MV Galaxy Leader.

00:10This is while they were waking up after being hostaged by the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

00:15In the Thanksgiving Mass, President Marcos Jr. gave a clear directive to DMW Secretary Hans Leo Kakdak

00:23to help the so-called Filipino seafarers wake up.

00:26They were the first to receive financial assistance, training certificates, and gift bags from DMW, OWA, and TESDA.

00:34The seafarers are very grateful to President Marcos Jr. for assuring their safety and well-being.

00:42Secretary Kakdak is also grateful to Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo

00:46and Transportation Secretary Jimmy Bautista.
