Everspace 2 bekommt ein richtig großes DLC. Mit Wrath of the Ancients, zu Deutsch etwa »Zorn der Alten«, bekommen Weltraum-Fans im Frühjahr 2025 eine Erweiterung spendiert, die euch in bislang ungesehenen Sternensystemen gegen neue außerirdische Feinde antreten lässt. Der brüchige Frieden zwischen Menschheit und Okkar ist erneut bedroht.      Bestehende Sternensysteme werden um neue Nebenquests erweitert, obendrein gibt's auch ein neues Spielerschiff und jede Menge frische Ausrüstungsgegenstände. Wrath of the Acients erscheint für den PC, Xbox und PlayStation.
