Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, clarifies that the US welcomes immigration but emphasizes it must occur through proper legal channels.

00:00America is not not welcoming to the migrant or the immigrants, not at all.

00:05We're simply saying that we want you to come, but come through the right process.

00:09You are creating a false narrative, again, that America is just so vile against immigrants,

00:14and that's not the case at all. Black people in America are immigrants.

00:17Matter of fact, almost every race in America are immigrants,

00:21with the exception of the Native American Indians, like the Cherokee and the Navajo.

00:26But outside of that, most of us are our ancestors to immigrants.

00:31And so to suggest that we are not welcoming is a lie.

00:35We are to not break the law.

00:38We're not to break the law to help those who are breaking the criminal law.

00:43It is our job to uphold the law.

00:46And of course, I may have a personal desire to help somebody who was here illegally,

00:51but also my conviction will have me remember what Jesus said.
