00:00Paddy, in terms of starting your tenure as Dairy Manager, it couldn't get more tricky

00:06than a trip to Healy Park?

00:07Yeah, busy weekend ahead and looking forward to it. The Trone Dairy Rivalry has always

00:13been there and it always will be, and it's a good thing for football that you have two

00:16teams that are going to be really going out hard to win the first match, but you also

00:20then have the introduction of the new rules to help with that too. So this Saturday will

00:24be a wee bit of an experience for us all to see how the thing works out, how the game

00:30is being played out now, but also with new management teams in place for both counties

00:34it's got, it's really something of Florida.

00:37How much of a joker cared are the new rules just going into the league season?

00:42I think they're massive. In fairness, I think if we were sitting back and we were playing

00:46this game under the old rules you'd be very much more in control of what can go on here,

00:51but now we're looking at a game where we're still trying to find our way with it, where

00:56the officials are looking after the game, we're trying to find our way as well, so even

01:00an interpretation of some of the rules and how the particular referee will officiate

01:04it. So there's a lot of wee areas within this game that are a wee bit unpredictable, but

01:10that's the joy of it too, maybe that's the fact that there's intrigue in this game.

01:14In terms of the league season, are you able to plan too far ahead with those rules, Paddy,

01:18or is it just game at a time?

01:19It's really game at a time at the moment, we don't even look beyond this match, because

01:23we don't really have context, until you have context of a game to look back on, to review

01:27and to analyse, then you can say well, you can change this or work on that, but at the

01:31moment it's really just going to be one game at a time.
