2 graduating SHS student, nalunod nang magkayayaang maligo sa Ungga Falls sa Baras, Rizal

Tatlong buwan na lang sana bago sila magsipagtapos sa senior high school pero malagim na trahedya pa ang sinapit ng apat na estudyanteng nagkayayaang maligo sa isang talon sa Baras sa Rizal.

Dalawa sa kanila ang hindi na makakapagmartsa matapos malunod sa talon. Ang isa sa mga biktima, sinubukan pa umanong sagipin ang nalulunod na kaklase pero maging siya ay ‘di nakaligtas.

00:05But there's still a tragic incident.

00:07Four students tried to take a bath in a pool in Barras, Rizal.

00:14Two of them couldn't walk after drowning in the pool.

00:18One of the victims tried to ask for help from the drowning classmate.

00:24But even he couldn't be saved.

00:26EJ Gomez was found dead.

00:31This is the scene in Ungga Falls, Barangay San Salvador, Barras, Rizal.

00:36It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday.

00:39The authorities are trying to save the two men who drowned after going to the deep part of the falls.

00:47It's hard for the rescuers to follow the victims because of the strong flow of water.

00:53It took a few more hours before the victims were rescued.

00:57According to the police, four graduating students tried to take a bath in Ungga Falls

01:03after they got their medical certificate for their work immersion.

01:08One of them drowned and went to the deep part of the falls.

01:13He tried to save the classmate but he also drowned.

01:17We only saw him calling and asking for help from his grandfather.

01:21He was helped by his classmate.

01:26They both went to the deep part of the falls.

01:29Unfortunately, these four classmates were not able to escape.

01:37They were declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

01:40The family that was named after the victim was the first to go to the hospital.

01:43The student who tried to save his classmate was John Mike Pasion,

01:48a resident of Barangay Kupang, Antipolo City.

01:52John Mike's family is deeply saddened.

01:55They hope that he will be able to graduate in three months.

02:01It's very painful.

02:03He is no longer with us.

02:05He did not think twice to save his classmate.

02:20Even though he is in danger, he is proud but sad.

02:27It would be better if he could save himself and his classmate.

02:34The two victims in Antipolo City were both killed.
