00:00Good afternoon to all of us, this is an update on the weather we will be having.

00:04Easterlies or the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean, the dominant weather system now,

00:10which is affecting a large part of our region.

00:13These Easterlies will still bring light to moderate to the times heavy rains in parts of Quezon,

00:19Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, as well as in Soxhagen, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

00:28The expected rains are still possible due to floods and landslides in low-lying areas and in mountainous areas,

00:35so be extra careful to our fellow countrymen.

00:39Northeast, Monsuno, Amihan, we are still expecting to be affected in the northern and central Luzon area.

00:45We still have chances of Easterlies expected in the Ilocos Region, Cordilleran,

00:51Civil Region, Cagayan Valley, and in the central Luzon.

00:55Here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our region,

01:00we will continue to experience fair weather conditions,

01:03but it is still possible that there will be heavy rains, especially this afternoon until later tonight.

01:09We are not monitoring any low-pressure areas or typhoons that are possible to affect our country.

01:16For our forecast for tomorrow, due to Amihan,

01:20the parts of Cagayan Valley, Cordilleran, and Civil Region, as well as Aurora,

01:25will continue to experience dark clouds with weak rains.

01:31But this part of the Ilocos Region, as well as the central Luzon,

01:35we are expecting to see clear skies, but in the early morning,

01:39it is still possible for them to experience weak rains or landslides due to Amihan.

01:45Here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of the Luzon,

01:50we are expecting to see clear skies, especially in the early morning until later tonight.

01:54But when it comes to the afternoon and night, the chances of us experiencing heavy rains are higher.

01:59That is why we will still bring an umbrella when we go outside our homes.

02:04Here in Caminilaan, the temperature is around 23 to 30 degrees Celcius.

02:08In Tagaytay, the temperature is around 20 to 28 degrees Celcius.

02:13In Baguio City, the minimum temperature is around 14 degrees Celcius

02:18and the maximum temperature is around 25 degrees Celcius.

02:22In Lawag, the temperature is around 22 to 31 degrees Celcius.

02:25While in Taguigarao, due to Amihan, the skies are cloudy,

02:29that is why the temperature is around 22 to 29 degrees Celcius.

02:34In Legazpi City, the temperature is 23 to 32 degrees Celcius.

02:38We also went to Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands,

02:42where the highest temperature is still around 32 degrees Celcius.

02:49In the province of Cabizayaan, we did not expect heavy rains there.

02:54The clear skies will continue in the early morning until later tonight.

02:58But in the afternoon and night, we are expecting light rains due to the Easter leaves.

03:04So the chances of thunderstorms are higher in the eastern Visayas.

03:10We can visit our social media accounts to see our issuance on thunderstorm advisory.

03:18In Iloilo and Metro Cebu, the temperature is around 25 to 31 degrees Celcius.

03:24In Tacloban, the temperature is around 24 to 31 degrees Celcius.

03:28We also went to Mindanao, where due to the Easter leaves,

03:32we are expecting heavy rains and thunderstorms.

03:37In Carraga, Davao Region, and Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

03:45But in most parts of Mindanao, we are expecting fair weather conditions.

03:50But the chances of rain are high in the afternoon and night due to the Easter leaves.

03:56In Cagayan de Oro and Metro Davao, the maximum temperature is around 31 degrees Celcius.

04:00In Zamboanga, the temperature is around 24 to 33 degrees Celcius.

04:06For our fishermen, we do not have a gill warning in any town in our ocean.

04:12But we are still warning our fishermen who are fishing in the northern and central Luzon

04:18or in the seaboards of the northern and central Luzon,

04:22because the moderate to rough sea condition is still possible.

04:26But in other towns in our ocean, the weather conditions will be moderate to moderate.

04:33For our 3-day weather outlook in the major cities in our country,

04:38here in Metro Manila, or in the entire Luzon region,

04:41we are expecting that over the weekend until Monday,

04:44the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will gradually increase.

04:48That is why we are expecting here in Camanilaan, Baguio, and Legazpi City,

04:52there will be weak rains or storms, especially in the early morning or early afternoon of Amihan.

05:00And if we will notice here in Camanilaan, the temperature we are expecting for the next 3 days is lower

05:06because of the effect of Amihan.

05:09We are expecting around 22 to 23 degrees Celcius temperature for the next 3 days here in Metro Manila,

05:15and 29 to 30 degrees Celcius is the maximum temperature.

05:19In Baguio City, it will be around 13 to 14 degrees Celcius or 15 degrees Celcius

05:24is the minimum temperature in the early morning.

05:26But in the afternoon, it will be around 24 to 25 degrees Celcius.

05:30In Legazpi City, it will be around 23 to 32 degrees Celcius.

05:34That is where we are expecting the temperature to be high for the next 3 days.

05:39Let's go to the major cities in Kabisayaan,

05:42where we can see in Metro Cebu and Tacloban,

05:47from Sunday to Monday, we are expecting the sky to be cloudy

05:51with heavy rains and storms.

05:53This is possible because of the shear line.

05:56Because we are expecting that Amihan will be strong,

06:00that is why the shear line will be lower in some parts of Kabisayaan.

06:03That is why we are preparing for the rain that will be possible

06:07because of the shear line in the next few days in eastern and central Visayas.

06:12In Iloilo City, western Visayas, and Negros Island Region,

06:17it is possible that the rain will be weak until noon

06:21because of the Northeast Monsoon of Amihan.

06:25Let's go to Mindanao, where for the next 3 days,

06:29in Metro Davao and Cagayan de Oro,

06:30we are not expecting heavy rains,

06:33that is why they will continue to experience heavy rains,

06:37especially in the morning and afternoon,

06:39but we are still preparing for the chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

06:43In Zamboanga, when Sunday comes,

06:45we can see that the chance of rain is higher there.

06:48This is also possible because it is in the Easter list,

06:51that is why we are expecting scatter drains.

06:53In 24 to 33 degrees Celsius,

06:56we are expecting temperatures in the part of Zamboanga City.

07:00Our forecast for today is that it will rain until 5.51 p.m.

07:05and it will be sunny again tomorrow at 6.25 a.m.
