00:00Meanwhile, Texas, another team in the SEC, certainly with an outside shot, not just to

00:05make the tournament, but to go on a deep run.

00:08Their defense has been very good.

00:09They win 61-53 yesterday, the final.

00:13So what do you make of Texas?

00:15And is this upcoming schedule going to maybe teach us a little bit more about what we can

00:20potentially expect moving forward?

00:22Yeah, I think they showed last night that they can be exceptional defensively.

00:27They basically wiped every solid Missouri player off the floor, Caleb Grille, Mike Mitchell.

00:33No one got anything done for the Tigers.

00:36And now what Texas has to do in order to get themselves squarely in the tournament picture,

00:42and anybody, as NC State showed last year, anybody that's in there that has a reasonable

00:48amount of talent can make a run.

00:51I don't think we could ever say that's not possible after what we saw from the Wolfpack

00:54a year ago.

00:56And certainly, Texas has a reasonable amount of talent.

00:58So getting in is a lot of the trick.

01:00And getting in against this SEC, again, is where the problem lies.

01:05Because Texas does not have a number of high-level victories.

01:08Last night would certainly qualify as one that will help them because it's a team that's

01:12almost certainly going to be in the tournament.

01:15So Texas needs more of that.

01:18And they're going to have to be able to take this defense on the road.

01:20They say defense always travels.

01:23Texas hasn't always packed its bags with the D included.

01:26So that's something that they're going to have to do when they resume going on the road

01:31in the SEC.
