00:26Absolutely. It's the only thing that made sense. The one precious thing in the NFL is a young,

00:31innovative offensive mind and he's your coach. You don't want to lose him here. If he's your

00:35offensive coordinator, unless you make him head coach, you're going to lose him. But I never

00:39understood the talk during the season and I'm assuming it was his agent jockeying for maybe

00:44more money in the offseason where he was strumming up like there's a hot market. But does anybody

00:49know, let's just say the Minnesota Vikings are like, you know what, we're going to part ways

00:53with our coach here. He would be snapped up in an absolute millisecond to go to another team and be

00:57their head coach at blockbuster money. It never made any sense. And again, as I equate to the

01:02professional players, nobody during this season is looking at Josh Young going, you know what,

01:07maybe they trade him in the offseason. Where does this even come from? Where did the talk start

01:11where one of the young, up-and-coming, brightest minds in the sport on offense is your coach.

01:16You're like, eh, we might trade him if we don't really feel like we're going to re-sign him. I

01:18don't know where that came from. I just figure it might have been his agent. But it just makes

01:21sense. He's back with Minnesota. And next year, they figure they do have their franchise guy in

01:26J.J. McCarthy. But I'll tell you, it will get interesting behind the scenes if he actually

01:30doesn't want J.J. McCarthy just yet because he's under contract for a couple of years.

01:34Sam Darner was good. Let's ride those vibes. Let's add a couple more pieces. Let's get him

01:38some help. That's the interesting parts of the offseason. It never was. Are they bringing back

01:42Kevin O'Connell? Are they going to do a Dallas Cowboys? You better win next year. We're all in.
