Philippines: How a coastal community has revived mangroves

Three decades ago, the mangrove forest in the Philippines' Prieto Diaz was nearly depleted, but restoration efforts have reversed years of decline. DW explores the success story of the coastal town southeast of Manila.

00:00Before the water reached the community, the mangroves were already affected.
