Knives axes seized after intense police pursuit across the Illawarra

00:00A man accused of having axes, knives and drugs stashed in a stolen car as he led police on

00:25two pursuits across the Illawarra has been caught.

00:29The car, allegedly stolen from a Boweral home on Monday, January 20th, was spotted by officers

00:36at 7pm that day on the Hume Highway at St Andrews.

00:40When police attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped off and a pursuit began.

00:45A short time later, due to safety concerns, it was terminated on Picton Road in Cordeaux.
