00:06long time friend and a big very passionate enthusiast of the puddle and tennis and

00:12of course with Paris Saint-Germain football and he's so involved with sports on a global level and

00:18We always talked about playing puddle together, but there was never kind of a we didn't find a moment

00:23But here it is today first time. I played some puddle with him and he's really good

00:27And of course we bother his excellency and it's it's a lot of fun, you know

00:32You have the legends like Ocelot of the of the football world

00:36You know Verdasco my friend fellow tennis player

00:40It's this is what makes this place. So special, you know

00:43the the I guess the intertwining between so many different fields successful players that X and

00:50People that excelled in their fields, but it's sports or business entrepreneurship

00:55So, it's lovely obviously f1 weekend in Qatar

00:58The whole world's eyes is directed to to Doha and it's pleasure to be here, you know

01:04As strange as it sounds but I've never witnessed the f1 life actually

01:10because I've had it in Monaco and

01:12You know, I kind of always go out from Monaco and there's race happening

01:17Is it so loud but actually true to be told them?

01:20I'm always in Paris for Roland Garros at that time when there's Monaco Grand Prix

01:24But I was there once and it was so loud that I had to go out

01:29And it was kind of difficult to see as well

01:32But I guess you know, I I'm actually very interested. I love that one

01:36Of course, I've been a fan of all the guys, you know, Michael Schumacher

01:41Of course at the time when he was dominating and Lewis Hamilton

01:46Friends with George Russell, you know, I know the guys like Carlos Saenz and Pierre Gasly all the guys

01:52So I follow of course like like most of the sports world. We follow each other

01:57Constantly on a global level though. So this is going to be the first time I'm going to be actually

02:03witnessing

02:04Hopefully also if I get a chance to to enter the garage and see how they how they prepare

02:09This is I guess the unique experience, you know to really see, you know, what's behind the stage

02:15What what's happening behind the curtain that people don't normally see?

02:19That's that's what I as an athlete appreciate a lot, you know the way they prepare mentally for the race

02:24Because you know, you're putting your life on the line every single time. You're you're you're entering the car

02:28So this is this is something that that you know, it's very intriguing to me to know how they deal with that pressure

02:34you know, I actually talked with a couple of guys about it and and

02:37And sport in general has I mean f1 has reached incredible

02:43Incredible levels of popularity now. I think they've as a brand doing an amazing job

02:48And and I think overall tennis

02:52F1 football all the global sports have improved so much with whether it's technology or skills to know how the way you prepare the way

02:59You recover

03:00So it kind of a multidisciplinary approach is is something very very interesting to me to learn from other sports

03:06And maybe there's some elements that I can implement in my own career. They can help me, you know, perform better

03:17From

03:18Achievement standpoint was all about the Olympic gold medal in Paris. You know, that was the main goal from the beginning of the year

03:24I didn't have such a great season comparing to maybe some previous years in terms of you know

03:29Maybe Grand Slam success or other tournaments

03:33and I've

03:34You know struggled with injuries and had had the surgery of my knee

03:39After Roland Garros and but managed to recover and play finals of Wimbledon and win Olympics

03:44So that was probably the best part of the year and I'm looking forward to it. You know, I I'm feeling

03:50inspired

03:52Again to go out on the courts and motivated

03:55I'm doing my best to prepare myself the best possible way I have, you know more time than usual

04:00You know, we have kind of very short off seasons, but this time I ended my season quite early

04:06So I had time to rest and recover and and then you know, I'm in the training process and you know, but it gets me going

04:13So I'm I'm looking forward to a competition, you know

04:16I feel like I can still go strong with young guys. Obviously senior Alcars are leading the way but

04:23But I feel like when when I'm prepared when I'm top of my game

04:26I can I can challenge them and I look forward to see you know, how far I can go next year should be exciting

04:32Obviously always priorities are the slams the majors

04:35And then we'll see how it goes
