00:00This is Nida Zegebi, and she has spent the last eight months jailed in Israel.
00:04And this is the joyous moment where she was reunited with her children.
00:08She was first arrested on charges of incitement and support of terrorism.
00:12However, she was never sentenced.
00:14The release was part of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.
00:17However, the family isn't entirely reunited just yet.
00:21That's because her husband remains incarcerated by the Israelis.
00:24Zegebi says that they had heard rumors of a possible release while imprisoned,
00:28but they had no definitive answer either way.
00:30That is, until about 10 minutes before she was released,
00:33when the deputy head of the prison showed up and told them to ready themselves to be freed.
00:37With the now-released woman telling Reuters,
00:39He was never nice to us, none of them were.
00:42But he tried to show some humanity at that point.
00:44She was just one of 90 individuals who were traded in a prisoner swap with Hamas.
00:49The Palestinian group released three of their hostages on the first day of the ceasefire,
00:53an agreement which includes aid to Gaza and 2,000 prisoners to be freed.
