Venezuela: People feel optimistic about national production

00:23I can give you a piece of information that is provided to me by the businessmen of the markets and suppliers of the country.

00:35Eighty-five percent of the products that are being obtained in the supermarkets are made in Venezuela

00:40and all supermarkets' demands are satisfied with products made in Venezuela in high quality.

00:45Milagro Salazar works six days a week from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Quinto Crespo market.

00:56She is a vendor, the last stop before the products reach the citizens.

01:00There are goods, there is national production, because all the products you see here are produced here.

01:07Tomato, onion, strawberry, peach, all of that is produced here, here in Venezuela.

01:14Eliana Perdomo always comes to this market and today she bought vegetables to make a soup for her child.

01:22Well, here in the Quinto Crespo market you get too much variety in fruits, vegetables, bugs, green grocers, everything.

01:29The quality is really good and it is better for the Venezuelan pocket to come here to buy.

01:39Before, certain brands had a monopoly, now there are several different ones to choose from.
