BlackRock's ETF Chief, Samara Cohen, predicts Bitcoin will rise under President-elect Donald Trump, citing expected cryptocurrency deregulation as a key driver. Speaking to CNBC, Cohen emphasized Bitcoin's volatility, noting that 15% moves are not enormous and that long-term adoption will determine its value. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust has been up 114% since January 2024, and it launched its Bitcoin ETF on CBOE Canada this week. Calamos Investments plans to debut the world's first fully downside-protected Bitcoin ETF two days after Trump’s inauguration.
