Cyclist films shocking near miss from a 'police livery'

Heart-stopping footage shows a cyclist's miraculous near miss with a car sporting what appeared to be police livery.

Dan Brothwell, 49, from Cirencester, Gloucester came within inches of being hit by the car which was marked ‘Dog Handler’ and ‘Response Unit’.

The car, which had blue and yellow markings and a police-style lightbar on the roof, was filmed overtaking Dan on the A443 near Worcester.

The dad-of-two was forced to swerve out of the way as the Skoda Octavia hurtled past him on March 27 last year.
