Baby Raccoons Climb All Over Their Rescuer

Wait to see them climb up their rescuer's husband ❤️ We talked to Siki who told us what it was like having 5 baby raccoons in her house.

00:00They were stranded in a tree looking for their mom.

00:04Come on babies.

00:05Their mom was hit by a car and they were crying.

00:09I tried to find construction workers.

00:11You're the best.

00:12The tree was way too tall.

00:13We ended up getting stewards.

00:16He was a climbing arborist and he had the perfect skill set to save the raccoons.

00:25Oh my god, those things are freaking me out.

00:29They hadn't eaten in at least four days.

00:32We called 20 different rehabbers in Ontario and no one was accepting baby raccoons.

00:38But everyone was really helpful with advice.

00:41At first, they came back to my place until we could find the perfect rehabilitation centre that would accept them all.

00:53It was very exciting to have them all safe and together.

00:58My partners loved them so much and they loved him.

01:01They were all climbing all over him.

01:03It's actually pretty hilarious walking around the room with five raccoons climbing all over you.

01:18You feel like the only thing that matters right now is helping these little babies.

01:23I called the rehabber who had said he would take them in a week.

01:27Then we went to the rehab and then he got them there safely.

01:39They're doing great at the sanctuary.

01:41They're allowed to go outside and play and start to get introduced to the world that they're going to be living in.

01:46We were lucky enough to be able to visit them and see how much they're thriving.

01:53I'm so grateful that everybody made it and is happy and healthy.
