'How could this even be true?' Man marvels at house spared by California wildfires

"Every house is burnt down on my block except for my house," a man says, astonished as he surveys the aftermath of the Eaton Fire in California.

00:00This is the corner house on the left side of my house.

00:07This is across the street, the corner house and the two houses in front and the entire street on my right side is decimated.

00:25From what I could see, every house is burnt down on my block except for my house.

00:36Why do I do this? Why do I deserve this? I don't know. I don't think I deserve it but God bless everybody else.

01:00With plenty of insurance to rebuild. God knew what he had to do to protect me because I'm an idiot.

01:18Meanwhile, everybody else's house around me is, oh my God, everybody behind me.

01:32My lumber, even all of my lumber burned.

02:53All right, we're going to go ahead and put some water on that right now.
