00:00The bilateral relations of the Philippines and India were strengthened

00:04alongside the 75th anniversary of the bilateral relations of the two countries.

00:14The bilateral relations of the two countries will be strengthened by the Philippines and India

00:19amidst the geopolitical condition.

00:22On my courtesy in Palacio,

00:25President Fernie Nadar Marcos Jr. helped Indian Minister of State for External Affairs,

00:31Pabitra Margarita.

00:33Here, the two leaders announced the strengthening of the bilateral relations of the two countries

00:39that marked the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations last November.

00:45This is considered an important success of India that brought prosperity to the Philippines.

00:51President Marcos said,

00:53despite the strong bilateral relations,

00:57it is important to strengthen the alliance and cooperation of the Philippines and India

01:02in the face of challenges not only in Asia but also in the Indo-Pacific.

01:07Among the challenges facing the region are security threats,

01:12issues in the territory, and climate change.

01:16On November 16, 1949,

01:18when the diplomatic relations of the Philippines and India were established,

01:22in 2023,

01:25the total share of the two countries reached more than US$3 billion.

01:31The Philippines is exporting minerals, minerals, and fruits to India

01:36while our country is obtaining pharmaceutical products from India

01:42and is ranked 15th among the leading trading partners of the Philippines.

01:47There are 53 agreements signed between the two countries

01:52that are anchored in the Declaration of the Co-Operation of Agriculture, Energy, and Defense

02:01of the Philippines

02:03for Pambansang TV in the new Philippines.
