00:00You represent California's 63rd Assembly District. Just to be clear, you're not
00:04immediately in the disaster area, but just tell us what the latest is you're
00:08hearing with regards to the situation in the wildfires.
00:11Yeah, our district that I represent is not immediately impacted by the fires, but we
00:16are adjacent, so we are we're very much in the vicinity. Right now the
00:20fires are still burning and there's still new fires being ignited almost
00:26every day and so if they're quickly put out they can be avoided, but the problem
00:29we're having is it's the winds. It's extremely windy here and with the dry
00:34conditions if a fire starts the winds just exasperate it very quickly and it
00:39can spread and become very wild and uncontrolled. So right now what we're
00:44really hoping for is for the winds to die down.
