Casterton fails to reach 400c/kg as Queensland, NSW backgrounders dominate

00:11drafts and got into the 290 to 320 kilo calves bidding become a little bit of radical sort of

00:18back to you know 340 to 350 and then again once we turned the corner and got onto the lighter drafts

00:24yeah no one there to buy the lighter calves like a lot of calves there 220 to 260 kilos all bred

00:30properly weaned everything right about them and you know those sales are anywhere from $3 to $3.20

00:35which you know you're working out a lot of calves there $650, $700 towards the end. A lot of those

00:40lighter cattle were just going to Aubrey Wodonga, not much northern support for those to sort of

00:46bang them out I suppose you'd say.
