00:00Hi, my name is Ira Graves, Air Support Group Supervisor with Incident Management Team 5
00:22working on the Eaton fire.
00:24Where we're at right now is a turnout.
00:27We're going to have a helicopter come land here shortly, get their bucket deployed, and
00:32they're going to be working out of the mobile retardant base we have set up at the Mount
00:36Wilson Observatory.
00:38This helicopter is going to be working in tandem with some of our air tankers.
00:42We have some very large air tankers coming in to work with Air Attack, and the purpose
00:47of this mission right now is we want to get some retardant out on the ridges on the west
00:53flank of our fire, where we feel pretty positive that we're going to try and hold the line,
00:58but if winds pick up and things are not in our favor, then what we're trying to do is
01:04reinforce some contingency lines out in front of the fire with retardant, so that if things
01:10get out, we'll be a step ahead of it.
01:23We're going to have a helicopter come land here shortly, get their bucket deployed, and
01:25they're going to be working on the Eaton fire.
