00:00It's the scariest performance of my career.

00:03I've never been more scared in playing a character.

00:06I've done these sort of performances before,

00:09but none quite like this.

00:13I felt like I could become this vessel of evil playing Orlok.

00:18He's the pinnacle of horror characters.

00:23The voice was the biggest challenge

00:26because Robert really wanted the voice as deep as possible.

00:29So I worked with an opera singer to get the vocals right.

00:33You will obey this my counsel.

00:36We worked with a movement coach

00:38to explore different ways of how he would move.

00:40There's so much power in how deliberate his movements are.

00:45He is coming.

00:50How did your cast mates react to your transformation?

00:53I think it's a better question for them.
