00:00Alwarka is a village that has been in a slump for 8 months in search of employment.

00:12There are more than 150 houses in this village and people from all the houses go abroad with their families.

00:19Some go to Haryana, some go to Punjab, some go to Rajasthan to ask for food.

00:24The children die of starvation, so we have to go abroad.

00:27We play dhol and women dance.

00:30We stay abroad for 8-9 months and stay at home for 4 months.

00:35The village that was in a slump since the time of Mahan Singh,

00:44is now in a slump.

00:49Paidpur is a village that has been in a slump for more than 200 years.

00:53This village is also known as the village of the slum.

00:58The people of this village go to other states and work for their livelihood.

01:04What is the reason for going to Punjab?

01:06They go there to earn a living.

01:10When people go out of the village, locks are hung on the houses of the village.

01:15After returning from work, people stay with their families in the village for 4 months.

01:20When they return from work, the village is in a slump.

01:24I have been living here for at least 100 years.

01:28My elders used to tell me.

01:30But how can I live without a job?

01:33Some go to Badam, Bareilly, Pili, Sejanpur.

01:38Some go to Madhya Pradesh.

01:41Some go to Bhindmure, Nazalon, Datiya, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Chhatarpur.

01:49The village is empty.

01:51The poor people are helpless.

01:53They break the locks.

01:55The poor people beg for food.

01:57My elders used to tell me.

01:59I have been locked up like this for 100 years.

02:01Paidpur village, which is located behind the main tourist center of Alwar,
