କଫି ବଗିଚାରେ ଫଳିଛି ଅଳେଇଚ, ନୂତନ ସମ୍ଭାବନାକୁ ନେଇ ଚାଷୀ ଖୁସ

କୋରାପୁଟ ବ୍ରାଉନ ଭ୍ୟାଲି କଫି ବଗିଚାରେ ଅଳେଇଚ ଚାଷ କରି ଲାଭବାନ ଚାଷୀ । ବର୍ଷକୁ 2 କ୍ବିଣ୍ଟାଲ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ହେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ କେଜି ପ୍ରତି 2500 ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବିକ୍ରି ହେଉଛି ।

00:04Because, if I remember, in 1978,

00:08I had seen that the fish pond's soil conservation farm

00:13had grown alaicha in a very miraculous way and it was dry.

00:16That is what inspired me to grow coffee plants and alaicha.

00:21Apart from that, if we go to Karnataka, Kerala,

00:24the coffee plants are grown in western Ghats

00:27and alaicha is grown in an organic way.

00:29Alaicha and black pepper are grown in an organic way.

00:32In Kerala, there is an Indian Kadamum Research Institute

00:38in Idukera, near Myladdam.

00:40We had brought some seeds and fodder from there.

00:43We had planted the same fodder, which is known as Nizani Green Gold.

00:47Today, I have been able to plant it for 600 years.

00:51And I see that there is a lot of possibility of growing alaicha.

00:56Although I have kept alaicha in an organic practice,

01:00I have been able to grow alaicha anywhere in the year.

01:07I didn't know about the system of processing green alaicha,

01:11but now I have learnt about it.

01:13It is very good.

01:14Alaicha is not sold in bulk.

01:16The tourists who come in this season,

01:21the whole sale price of alaicha is Rs. 25,000.

01:28If tons of alaicha are sold,

01:32we give Rs. 25,000 to the tourists,

01:35while the market price is Rs. 35,000-40,000.

01:38We want to sell alaicha at a price of Rs. 80,000.

01:43I have seen a lot of coffee gardens,

01:48but I haven't seen the Brown Valley coffee garden.

01:51I had come to Apurvar for a while,

01:53but I hadn't forgotten about this garden.

01:55I have forgotten about this garden extensively.

01:57I have been here for 1.5-2 hours.

01:59I am really inspired.

02:00This is not just a coffee garden.

02:37What do you do to support the tribal people?

02:41We involve the tribal youth.

02:51we have started plant raising,

02:53we have built a caring system.
