My buddy and I got together to repair our Hobie 16 Catamaran boat. Six months ago, we went out on a perfect day to sail, and ran into some difficulties raising the mast, ultimately it slipped and got out of control, sheering off a portion of the solid aluminum base plate. So half a year later, we got together and fixed it. This video was created to help future boat owners discover how to repair with rivets. Mainly, because when we searched for a how-to video on pop-riveting, we couldn't find anything helpful.
