00:38started in Gorakhpur.
00:41And the great man who started it, his name is Nanaji Deshmukh.
00:48Today I am happy that together with the Municipality of Gorakhpur,
00:57we have started a new park worth Rs. 3.5 crores
01:03and have also started a project to beautify it.
01:12In four acres of land, the Municipality will develop it.
01:18It will have a pathway, greenery,
01:23and will also have a main gate.
01:30And Nanaji Deshmukh will have a magnificent statue there
01:36which will show his contribution.
01:43I had asked Rameshji that his memorabilia should be made in his name.
01:49And I am happy that his work is being started here.
01:54Nanaji Deshmukh is known for his artistic activities.
02:01The series of Saraswati Shishumantra
02:05was started by him from Gorakhpur as a public servant.
02:12Today in the country and in the world, in the number of thousands,
02:16the Saraswati Shishumantra is being organized by the Vidya Bharatiya Sangsthan.
02:23They are working to connect the youth of India
02:29with the knowledge of India's nationality.
02:36This is the same inspiration
02:39that is running the organization in the big cities.
02:45The work that has been done in the public areas as well,
02:50if that work had been done during the time of the government,
02:55then there would have never been so much injustice in those areas,
02:59which can be seen as an obstacle in those areas,

03:07But that injustice, that national injustice,
03:10in the form of a public servant,
03:13the National Public Servant Association had thought about that work
03:18a long time ago, 74 years ago.
03:23And the beginning of the series of Saraswati Shishumantra

03:45today every person is considering him as a true sanyasi.
03:51But there was a time when apart from Saraswati Shishumantra
03:56and the National Public Servant Association,
03:58no other organization supported Swami Vivekananda.
04:02Because Swami Vivekananda's inspiration,
04:05whose role was very important in raising awareness of patriotism,
04:11and he said to the citizens of the country,
04:14that tell them with pride that we are Hindus.
04:17Swami Vivekananda is saying in that dark hour that the country is a slave.
04:24So how can we accept this sin naturally?
04:28How can people accept this sin of putting the cover of secularism behind them?
04:35But the joy of the matter is that Swami Vivekananda,
04:40whose memory started with Saraswati Shishumantra,
04:45today in the whole country, with the same feeling,
04:50with the same respect, he is being remembered.
04:54And the beginning of Saraswati Shishumantra,
04:57started by Nanaji Deshmukh from Gorakhpur.
