00:00A seven-year-old autistic boy, who was reported missing from Taman Tongkutabor in Alor Star

00:07on Friday evening, has been found drowned in Sungai Kedah.

00:11Kota Star OCPD Assistant Commissioner Siti Noor Salawati Saad confirmed that the victim,

00:17Firash Daniel Mohamed Hafiz Ansley, was discovered on the riverbank approximately 100 metres

00:23from his home at around 8.12 am on Saturday.

00:27A police report was filed at 5.40 pm after the boy's mother realised he was missing

00:32at 4.30 pm.

00:34In response, the police mobilised a search team of 30 officers, initially focusing their

00:40efforts on the residential area and along the banks of Sungai Kedah.

00:45The victim was found without clothes.

00:48His body has been sent to the Forensic Department at Sultana Bahia Hospital for a post-mortem

00:53examination.

00:55The case has been classified as a sudden death.

00:58Earlier, authorities discovered the boy's clothes and slippers near a drain about 20

01:03metres from his home.

01:05Salawati noted that the child likely removed his disposable diaper before walking toward

01:09the river.
