Expansion of Penang International Airport, Juru-Sungai Dua highway to be expedited, says PM

The Federal Government has assured Penangites that the expansion of the Penang International Airport (PIA) and the Juru-Sungai Dua elevated highway project will be expedited to benefit both residents and visitors.  Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mutiara Line Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Bandar Sri Pinang on Saturday (Jan 11), emphasised the importance of these projects in reshaping Penang and its surrounding areas.  The Prime Minister also shared his vision of transforming Penang into a state celebrated not only for its modernisation but also as a place where affordable living is a reality for its residents. 01:23to enlarge the airport in the North

01:28We will also implement the construction of a circle

01:33around the Juru area

01:35which will be a lost place on the other side

01:40And as mentioned earlier

01:53but they always ask

01:55what about us, our area, our interests

01:59So while the infrastructure is important

03:04This is a challenge for Malaysian airport
