00:06make an event of it. You can go for a weekend to a city away, you can go for a meal before,

00:11you can make it a family occasion, a friend's occasion, just meet new friends. I mean, I

00:15went to one of Taylor Swift's concerts by myself and made a great group of friends.

00:21So yeah, it is one of those ones where, I mean, a concert is for everyone and music

00:25is also for everyone. It's a great way to just socialise.

00:28As Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour swept through the UK in 2024, with fans scrambling

00:34for tickets, Manchester and London emerged as the top cities for her fanbase, followed

00:39closely by Nottingham. The 12-time Grammy winner outsold music legends like Bruce Springsteen

00:44and the Foo Fighters.

00:45We found that a lot of tickets were actually sold just a month before and others, a quarter

00:50of the tickets were actually sold just the week before. I was lucky enough to get tickets

00:55for Taylor Swift the week before. I just didn't have the time to sit in the queue for

00:58hours when the tickets first went on sale. So it's really incredible that I could get

01:03tickets at the last minute and had the opportunity to be flexible.

01:08And you can really see the influence as well, can't you? Obviously, Sabrina Carpenter joining

01:11Taylor Swift on her tour in the US. And then you can see the influences in the Short and

01:16Sweet tour with the different outfit reveals and what outfit she's going to do tonight,

01:20that kind of thing. I do think, you know, with Taylor's record-breaking tour, you have

01:26to be living under a rock not to hear about the Eras tour. What do you think sets Taylor

01:31Swift apart from other global artists in captivating audiences?

01:34I just think her sort of music, the songwriting she's done, I don't know, there's something

01:39about it that really connects to everyone, whether you just like singing along, they're

01:43catchy. I mean, I think that's why Sabrina Carpenter's done so well, because her music

01:47is catchy. Everyone's sort of singing along in their head. Even if you don't want to,

01:50you're like, oh, it's in my head now, which I think is what everyone wants. It's just

01:55like a catchy, feel-good song. Some people can relate to them.
