00:00Non-resident Indians are playing a major role in the development and growth of Uttar Pradesh.

00:12They are bringing a lot of expertise, global connection and investment together for the UP.

00:20They contribute significantly in various sectors like real estate, education, healthcare, IT and manufacturing

00:33with their financial resources and international exposure.

00:40NRIs are also able to help to modernize the infrastructure, create job opportunities and boosting the local economy.

00:52All these contributions are being made by the NRIs.

01:00There are many initiatives from the government as well.

01:04The NRIs community is very excited about these initiatives.

01:10Thanks to these initiatives, the government has been able to give confidence to the NRIs

01:21that the resources they are bringing to UP will be protected in any way.

01:33There is ease of investment.

01:41Dedicated NRI sales are a major contribution that can be contacted easily.

01:48Many incentives and subsidies have already been planned by the government

01:56like in the sector of renewable energy, IT and manufacturing.

02:02There is a focus on infrastructure like roads and new airports.

02:08Jewar International Airport is one of the flagship airports that is going to happen in UP only.

02:15I think this is all bringing that ecosystem together and holding it together.

02:20Different kinds of policies are also coming into play.

02:25One of them is the NRI policy to increase education and tourism in smart cities.

02:32Another thing is that NRIs are getting support from the government.

02:39If there is a dispute, there should be a fast-track resolution.

02:46There should be an exclusive platform where NRIs can easily reach out to government officials.

02:55A recognition and reward for the NRI contribution through the awards and honors can also be planned.

03:05And the partnership with the NRI to promote UP's cultural heritage globally.

03:12So that is something which is very much required.

03:14If we will put that into place, that is giving more confidence, the credibility of the government,

03:20the leader like we have our Chief Minister Yogi Ji.

03:27He is able to give that confidence to the different NRI communities.

03:35We are very happy and we are looking forward to meet the growth strategy and the growth plans, the development plan of UP.
