When Betsy asked her boyfriend to gift her pajamas, he reminded her to dream big!
"He bought the horse I had been full-loaning for two years," Betsy told WooGlobe. "Full-loaning a horse means that legally, you are not their owner, but you take full financial responsibility and provide all the care they need. I chose this option because I had never owned a horse before and wanted to be sure I was up to the job. Plus, I didn’t have the money to buy a horse outright.
"My brother was also in on the surprise, and it was a real full-circle moment. When we were kids, he always tried to make me ‘horses’ out of wood, which would inevitably break when I tried to ride them!"
