00:10Bhagyash ji, first tell us what is the speciality of the vocal tradition in today's era?

00:17First of all, as it is vocal, there are words in it, which are not in the instrument.

00:31Which is not in the instrument, I feel this is the biggest advantage of vocal music.

00:36So what is the new trend in vocal music and what is the speciality of your Kutumbik tradition?

00:45As it is, nothing new is happening. We are trying to take forward the tradition that has been passed down.

00:54And if we talk about my tradition, my grandfather, Sangeet Bhushan Pandit Ram Marathia ji,

01:01he belonged to three families, Jaipur, Agra and Gwalior.

01:06And my guruji, Pandit Kedar Bhoras, he too had the same training of all three families.

01:12So I too got the same training and I try to see those three families very well.

01:17And I try to put it in my songs.

01:20In today's era of DJ and enthusiasm, how does this vocal attract the youth?

01:26Vocal is attracting because you are seeing so many people today, all young people are coming.

01:3370-80% you will see, all young people are coming.

01:37So this is the answer, many young people like classical music today.

01:41And many students are learning and doing it well.

01:45So this is a matter of great joy.

01:47Everyone has a speciality.

01:49So you as an artist, what is the speciality in your vocal that you will give to the people of Ahmedabad today?

01:57I will not call it a speciality, but whatever I do, I do it with a lot of honesty, with a lot of love.

02:04And I hope that people will like it the same way and I will continue doing it the same way.
